O’ God, I, seek divine guidance so that
I may remain steadfast in what is just.
I seek divine guidance in order to be
firm in righteousness.
I seek divine guidance in the manner that I express
my gratitude for Your favors and worship with devotion.
I seek from You a tongue that speaks the truth
and a heart which is pure and clean–amen
