You float like news in the air

You float more or less like news in the air
Like a broken feather lay on the seashore
There is no hustle and bustle of life around
My being there is like an isolated abode
You’re the unsure destination of my endeavor
My being is like a lonely path of endeavor
My human is dwindling with every moment
Like withered leaves fall in the autumn season
She’s akin to the word of gloom and dark night
I’m like a pulsating and apparent first light
Just feel what people will say of you, Shamim
You’re living in a world of news but oblivious

Fiza me tairtay rahtay ho tum khabar ki tarah
Mai ik kinaaray pada hu shikasta par ki tarah
Chahal pahal nahi koi na zindagi ka nishaN
Mera wujood hai tanha udaas ghar ki tarah
Tu aik manzil-e-mohuum justjoo mai teri
Mera wujuud hai sunsaan rahguzar ki tarah
Har aik lamha har ik pal bikhar raha hia wujuud
khizaaN ki dhuup me jhadtay huwe shajar ki tarah
wo aik lafz saraapa hai raat ki suurat
ham aik maani-e-beparda haiN sehar ki tarah
tumhiiN kaho ki tumhaiN log kya kahengay ‘Shamim’
khabar ki dunya me rahte ho bekhabar ki tarah

Celestial ambiance!

Singing songs he’s lost self in dreams
He has silenced! The traveler of dreams
Stunned in musical tools; The Belle, dancing
She’s lost in ecstasy; she’s stopped dancing!
The shining stars and metaphors fascination
Have faded away and lost their captivation
Silence is ecstatic, and silence is deceptive
The being made of dust returned to dust
Whatever’s made of light subsists in light
Its celestial ambiance!

Blooming buds or May it be gale or you
There be sound in night’s silence though
Body emits a fresh dewy blossom’s scent
As someone left, leaving behind her scent
Speak softly! The world’s all ears to hear
Come closer, someone may not be all ears
Beaming blushing and the same elegance
As if you met me earlier in same elegance
Heart beats in night’s silence seems a bawl
Someone’s banging his head against a wall
How can anyone know what you’re for me?
You are my esteem, my light and my delight
Searching my love in your eyes’ reflection
As though thy heart beats boom my passion
That much ignorance in love isn’t good dear
What if I also ignore you like you; my dear
I twinkle in sand particles as stars you know
If you ever descend from heavens you know

In praise of Allah
Pour rain to make arid garden fresh O! Lord
Before hope dies-boom garden by fruit Lord
Bless us with sweet product as Thy mercy is
Whoever eats is enriched, all misery leaves
Make this land forever glow, no evil darkens
Bless in lots, so every hungry soul’s flourishes
Ignite and light my heart with Thy love O! Lord
So the light of Thy love swells all over O! Lord
Bless me a little with Thy wisdom, O! Kind Lord
Enlighten my heart to be obliged to You Lord
Abolish illiteracy and light the path of wisdom
Bless me with wisdom of words as I’m ignorant
Bless me with a heart having wealth of wisdom
Every word I say is worthy like gems and jewels
Make my words charming as fragrance of musk
My words of Thy love affect hearts like of musk
Bless my words be sweet and polite to attract
Bless too words I write on paper get fragrant
Commend my new book like a bride of allure
Virtuous look at it may award it of Thy allure
If any evil eye is cast on it, trying to find fault
Is right to get penalty from Thou to find fault
Made a mirror after great effort, a stone hit it
Very few people hold value and worth of love
No one is interested to hear words of wisdom
Even if hears, can’t get deep insight of wisdom

Abolish night’s gloom, light the lamp
Abolish fire of hate, light the lamp
From the serenity of followers of love
Arousing a stir in life, light the lamp
The skies have all the time been against
Forgetting everything, light the lamp
If the drive to defeat is crystal-clear
Illumine other lamp, glow with the lamp
Those who increase dark to every traveler
See! God is watching, do light the lamp
writing on the paper,

Writing light, on the paper,
Writing life, on the paper
What you haven’t yet read,
writing that on the paper
Have a river in my run, yet,
writing thirst on the paper
Having met a friend yet,
writing stranger on the paper
When to erase after writing,
writing amity on the paper

Who did chain up your feet?

Spring breeze came to ask me
Who did chain up your feet?
You met once and never met again,
Thy remembrance, revisit over again;
See, the effect of my beloved’s thought,
Solitude now appears to be festivity;
A teardrop is akin to, my being flowing,
Deeper than the ocean is my serenity
It’s the dark spot where the wind came
Number of times, to light the lamp;
Neither had you said anything to me nor I,
Then what did the silence say repeatedly?
Of losing loveliness and liveliness of spring,
The ruthlessness of autumn overshadowed
Blind man with a lamp

Once there lived a blind man in a small town. He always carried a lighted lamp in his hand whenever he went out at night.
On one dark night he was going with his lighted lamp in his hand. A group of men were passing that way.
They saw the blind man and made fun of him. They said,” O Blind man why do you carry the lighted lamp. You are blind and cannot see anything?
The blind man politely said, “This lamp is not for me, but for you people who have eyes. You may not see a blind man coming and push him. They felt ashamed and begged pardon.
Moral:
Think twice before you speak.
