O Lord, fill Muslim’s heart

O Lord, fill Muslim’s heart
with desire ardent,
that stirs his heart and
make his soul fervent;
Illumine each speck of dust
in valley of Faran,
Let us yearn for and urge
worth valley of Faran;
Let mislead envision the
entire insight,
Let others too envision
what I do sight;
Let the right way to the
attached to city, deer,
Lead to desert vastness
over to the lost deer;
Stir up and trigger the bleak
heart fervent,
Let the vacant hearts liven
up to be ardent;
In this era of unrest when,
each heart’s uneasy,
Lighten hearts’ sore with
Thy glorious mercy;
Make our goals possible to
reach beyond stars,
Give us patience of shore
and vastness of sea;
Let love be selfless,
Truth valiant and pure;
Light up us making our
hearts kind and pure;
Let us envision
catastrophe ahead of time,
Enable us to realize way
out ahead of time;
Me a sad nightingale of a
crushed garden,
In today’s anguish let us
bear and sustain;
Ya Rab! Dil-e-Muslim Ko Woh Zinda Tamana De
Jo Qalb Ko Garma De, Jo Rooh Ko Tarpa De
Phir Wadi-e-Faran Ke Har Zarre Ko Chamka De
Phir Shauq-e-Tamasha De, Phir Zauq-e-Taqaza
Mehroom-e-Tamasha Ko Phir Dida-e-Beena De
Dekha Hai Jo Kuch Mein Ne Auron Ko Bhi Dikhla De
Phir Wadi-e-Faran Ke Har Zarre Ko Chamka De
Phir Shauq-e-Tamasha De, Phir Zauq-e-Taqaza
Mehroom-e-Tamasha Ko Phir Dida-e-Beena De
Dekha Hai Jo Kuch Mein Ne Auron Ko Bhi Dikhla De
Bhatke Huway Aahu Ko Phir Soo’ay Haram Le Chal
Iss Sheher Ke Khugar Ko Phir Wusaat-e-Sehra De
Paida Dil-e-Weeran Mein Phir Shaurish-e-Mehshar Kar
Iss Mehmil-e-Khali Ko Phir Shahid-e-Laila De
Iss Dour Ki Zulmat Mein Har Qalb-e-Preshan Ko
Woh Dagh-e-Mohabbat De Jo Chand Ko Sharma De
Riffat Mein Maqasid Ko Humdosh-e-Surraya Kar
Khuddari-e-Sahil De, Azadi-e-Darya De
Be Lous Mohabbat Ho, Bebak Sadaqat Ho
Seenon Mein Ujala Kar, Dil Soorat-e-Meena De
Ehsas Anayat Kar Asaar-e-Mosibat Ka
Amroz Ki Shuarish Mein Andesha-e-Farda De
Main Bulbul-e-Nalan Hun Ek Ujre Gulistan Ka
Taseer Ka Saa’il Hun, Mauhtaj Ko, Data De!

A lamp of hope alone
When, builds a home in dark
Smiles, at its being there!
In the midst of hope and wishes;
Know what, it’s unaware of
The wicked tricks of cruelty;
Who went beyond the darkness?
Who brought info of radiance?
A lamp of hope alone!
When fondles on my lap,
How deeply my heart aches;
Its bright twinkling eyes,
If couldn’t give vision, but
I promise to guide the way
To the dense forests’ border
Show footprints of those gone;
A lamp of hope alone
That shimmers in my patio,
I feel drawn to it, lovingly
In its soft dim radiance

He was fond of throwing parties, at home frequently. Sufis were invited for spiritual reunion. Qawwals enlightened the situation. Spiritual healers met, to treat victims under magic influence. Then they all shared their experiences among themselves. Furqan, though small for all those activities, he, watched them eagerly. People with queer get up, like, wearing strange type of clothes, bracelets, rings with big stones, earrings, garlands, colored droplet necklaces, robes, anklets, wooden slippers, caps and head covers of different styles, all, delighted him with their unusual doings. Furqan developed interest in them subconsciously.
Dada told many tales of jinns to Furqan. Once, he told a true story of jinn, to Furqan. It was about his real grandmother. Before she was married to Furqan’s dada she was under the spell of jinn. It started, with her washing and splashing in water, on the roof, in summer. Surprisingly, all of a sudden, her vision blurred. She felt very upset. But just after few minutes, her vision was clear, like, before. Then, after a short while, she saw countless pigeons fluttering, over her head. They were so many in number that the sun hid behind them. It became all dark. This made her so terrified that she fainted. She saw herself lying, on her bed, when came to consciousness
