Face of Muhammad is the evidence of Deity
Veiled in Muhammad’s being is light of Deity
Common people can’t recognize this realism
Only the chosen few can realize the realism

His face glows like the full moon
His forehead emits luminous beam
Black tresses and entrancing eyes
Ecstatic intoxicated striking eyes
Two eye brows are like two bows
Seems like eye lashes shoot arrows
Crimson lips as red rubies of Yemen
Teeth are like white pearls in a row

How to enlighten his glorious face
Is he essence of life of life’s face?
The truth is; he’s akin to glory of God
All world glories derive from his God

Come out of thy cell and come to the mosque
Everyone crave s to sight of thy luminous self
Mortal and eternal beings lay eyes on thy way
Human, angels, fairies, dryad lay eyes on thy way

They’re fervent to have a glimpse of you
They’re standing by to offer their lives for you
Believers keen to be sold for free in thy way
May same divine time come again for thy way!

Who created thou o Prophet ﷺ
As the most handsome perfect being
Mehar Ali is trivial to chant thy being
How dare his insolent eyes see YOU ﷺ

Have nothing to do but to love my idol
I adore my own worshiping place of love
I’m edgy each moment without my idol
O! Faith where do you look for my love
No manor but my heart’s home for love
To enchant any heart, one needs to love
To beget love, its fine approach to love
One can’t live if she cast a glance at him
After gaze no sword needed to slay him
Setting, flora, goblets and crimson liquor,
All charm of leisure except for the beloved
What a pity, spring is passing away swiftly
Helpless of me, beloved doesn’t lend a hand
She was considerate till I bestowed my heart
After that disrespect and breaking of my heart
My days and nights are spent in thy casualness
It’s not at all sound love, of your negligence
Never come in with an immoral intention Niaz
It’s a not a public crossroad but a way to heart
کافر عشق ہوں میں بندہ اسلام نہیں
بت پرستی کےسوا اور مجھے کام نہیں
عشق میں پوجتا ہوں قبلہ و کعبہ اپنا
اک پل دل کو میرے اس کے بنا آرام نہیں
ڈھونڈتا ہے تو کدھر یار کو میرے ایماہ
منزلش در دلِ ما ہست لبِ بام نہیں
بوالہوس عشق کو تو خانہ خالہ مت بوجھ
اُسکا آغاز تو آسان ہے پر انجام نہیں
پھانسنے کو دلِ عشاق کے اُلفت بس ہے
گہیر لینے کو یہ تسخیر کم از دام نہیں
کام ہو جائے تمام اُسکا پڑی جس پہ نگاہ
کشتہ چشم کو پھر حاجتِ صمصام نہیں
ابر ہے جام ہے مینا ہے می گلگون ہے
ہے سب اسبابِ طرب ساقی گلفام نہیں
ہائے رے ہائے چلی جاتی ہے یوں فصل بہار
کیا کروں بس نہیں اپنا وہ صنم رام نہیں
دل کے لینے ہی تلک مہر کی تہی ہم پہ نگاہ
پھر جو دیکھا تو بجز غصہ و دشنام نہیں
رات دن غم سے ترے ہجر کے لڑتا ہے نیاز
یہ دل آزاری میری جان بھلا کام نہیں

In praise of Allah
Pour rain to make arid garden fresh O! Lord
Before hope dies-boom garden by fruit Lord
Bless us with sweet product as Thy mercy is
Whoever eats is enriched, all misery leaves
Make this land forever glow, no evil darkens
Bless in lots, so every hungry soul’s flourishes
Ignite and light my heart with Thy love O! Lord
So the light of Thy love swells all over O! Lord
Bless me a little with Thy wisdom, O! Kind Lord
Enlighten my heart to be obliged to You Lord
Abolish illiteracy and light the path of wisdom
Bless me with wisdom of words as I’m ignorant
Bless me with a heart having wealth of wisdom
Every word I say is worthy like gems and jewels
Make my words charming as fragrance of musk
My words of Thy love affect hearts like of musk
Bless my words be sweet and polite to attract
Bless too words I write on paper get fragrant
Commend my new book like a bride of allure
Virtuous look at it may award it of Thy allure
If any evil eye is cast on it, trying to find fault
Is right to get penalty from Thou to find fault
Made a mirror after great effort, a stone hit it
Very few people hold value and worth of love
No one is interested to hear words of wisdom
Even if hears, can’t get deep insight of wisdom

I’m lost in thy love so no matter what comes up
Given up life’s delight, no matter what comes up
O’ Healer, better not lay a hand on a patient like me
Leave me to God; let Him deal, whatever happens
Set aside the books, link with the axis of divine love
Drank divine Bliss Wine matters not what happens
The fire of love burnt all worldly name and status
No self-worth is left, so no matter what comes up
When complained of parting and not being there
Smiled truthfully said; “matters not what happens”
Stayed in trance of life’s oasis for a night long only
With the new dawn, moved ahead, matters not now
Having no concern of what is fine or awful, Niyaz
Anyone who met you; cares not, what may happen

Ishq mein tere kohe gham, sar pe liya jo ho so ho
Aish’o nishaat’e zindagi, chhord diya jo ho so ho
Mujh se mareez ko tabiib, haath too apna mat lagaa
Isko khuda pe chord de, bahr’e khuda jo ho so ho
Aql ke madrasee se uthh, ishq ke maikade mein aa
Jaam’e fanaa’o bekhudi, ab to piya jo ho so ho
Laag ki aag lagte hi panba namad ye jal gaya
Rakhte vujood-e-jaan-otan kuchh na bacha jo ho so ho
Hijr ki jo museebatein, arz kiin uske rubaru
Naaz’o adaa se muskura, kehne lagaa jo ho so ho
Hasti ke is saraab mein, raat ki raat bas rahe
Subh’e adam huaa numoo, paaon uthha jo ho so ho
Duniya ke nek’o bad se kaam, humko niyaz kuch nahin
Aap se jo guzar gaya, ussey kia jo ho so ho
