Nothing as such–nothing significant
What’s out there, beyond the skies?
This sphere is merely insignificant
Life spent in haste and willfulness
What to say of your nothingness
If we aren’t residents of this place
What’s home, what’s rootlessness
What do our eyes envision you as?
How do you in reality look like as?
I’m essence and glory of this world
If I’m gone; what’s there in the world
When delighted; he never was caring
If ever was doubtful will he be caring
A drop of my blood is more splendid
Ember and beer fail to be so splendid
Is all fine with you; how come so kind
Out of the blue and curtly why so kind?
An ardent seen in handful of dust being
It’s startling and unlikely to see the being
You are accountable for my soul’s grief
Your sighs can’t lessen my angst grief
if to achieve goal is not so important
Why fear of loss or gain so important
What’s life and glamour of life Anjum?
What’s beyond and veiled away then

on:- Allah Almighty says, “Neither the earth nor the Skies are vast enough to accommodate me, but I have created that ability in Believer’s heart!”
- Man was neither created a tree, that he remains standing, nor was he created a stationary rock that he lay motionless. Rather, man was created as the, ‘Best of Creation’ hence he should engage himself in the remembrance of Allah
- The sky is illuminated with twinkling stars and the earth is beautified with the presence of devout and virtuous people
- The sandal tree gifts its delightful fragrance to the very axe that chops it down
- Just as unlit lamp does not give out any light, similarly knowledge without practice does not benefit any one

Light the lamp

Abolish night’s gloom, light the lamp
Abolish fire of hate, light the lamp
From the serenity of followers of love
Arousing a stir in life, light the lamp
The skies have all the time been against
Forgetting everything, light the lamp
If the drive to defeat is crystal-clear
Illumine other lamp, glow with the lamp
Those who increase dark to every traveler
See! God is watching, do light the lamp
Far from the dwelling——–

Far from the dwelling, in I live nowhere
Being on the ground, I live in the skies
Who hath the power of the universe?
Peacefully I cherish in His shielding
You’re yearning to know heart’s ease
I don’t know which land I dwell in—
Words are spread out on every page
I dwell in every unsighted love story
All efforts are void to captivate love
I’m out of reach, dwell in far off land
Free from care of every yen and desire,
Its long journey———–

on:Its long journey and no travel companion at all
Scorching sunlight and not a shade of any tree;
If failed to burn my splendor up or my spirit,
If not an eye’s tear, then not a precious gem;
Why to yearn for that house from now,
That house, where no laudable lives now;
My vanity, vision and terseness is boundless,
I’m down in the dumps but, no healer about;
My aspiration of flight is to fly to the skies,
But, I’m the bird that has no wings either;
How could I applaud the seas for transience,
When, no single wave or tide is after my name
Lovelier than skies—!

Lovelier than the skies, stars,
Flowers, clouds, mountains;
From one and all I asked
About your destination;
But you, in my thoughts,
My centre of Allure,
How silently seated
In my heart’s temple;
My home is your lane;
Come to my lane some day,
To console my heart,
To accomplish wishes;
Before infinity of love,
Before the feat of wishes;
If wish to meet me, beloved
My home is just on the way—–!
Ahmar Hasan Ahmar’s touching poetry
