Trees play a very important role in our lives. Old trees act as a meeting point for people of different towns and areas. The old tree has huge and broad trunk with uncountable branches which spread the shadow covering a wide space. They provide shade and shelter to travelers.

One day, two travelers started their journey in the early morning. They walked for several miles in hot sunny day. It was so hot that could walk any more and got very tired.

They were happy to see a big thousand years old Banyan tree with breezing wind. So they decided to rest under the shade of that tree. They slept for many hours. When they awoke they felt hungry as they had traveled a long distance without eating anything. They climbed the tree to eat any fruit on it but since it was not a fruit bearing tree so they got down feeling unhappy.

One of the travelers was very short temper. He started abusing the tree. He said, “Oh, you are just a useless tree. You have no fruit or nuts to feed us.” He then kicked the poor tree so harshly that he hurt his won foot.

The other traveler calmed him down and asked him be patient and control his anger.

The old tree was very unhappy with his cruel hurting words and bad behavior so it said, “You can’t be so thankless to me. I provided you shade and space with cool breeze to rest and sleep in hot summer day. Just think if I wasn’t here, you would have died under the burning sun. I saved your life. Instead of thanking me you are cursing me.”

The traveler felt sorry for his temper so he apologized and asked forgiveness.

Moral: everything God created has some benefits for the human beings. Before getting angry we should realize and be careful of our words and temper.

Therefore their value is unimportant!

These are:

1. SUNLIGHT:sun19

The sun says, spend a little time with me while reading, exercising, listening to music, meditating, even chatting up with friends – do it with me! Just you and me, cause I am your BEST friend.

Physically and metaphorically Sunlight is beneficial to all. The sun gives light, to everyone regardless of caste or creed.

2. WATER:water

6-8 glasses of water in a day, replenishes all the liquids of the body. And  oxygen to every cell in the body. Our body thrives on fresh water. It is the greatest detoxifying agent ever produced. And it is FREE!

3. AIR:breathing

Life breath! Just being aware of your breathing for a little while, revitalizes every cell in the body.

 

Deep breathing – is a must, to exhale all carbon and take in all oxygen, in a clean and open environment.

It is a luxury today to breathe fresh air. Do not neglect this. deep

Holding a breath and then releasing it, clears all the diseases in the body.

4. DIET:veges

After consuming 3 of the 5 natures elements (Water, Air, and Earth & Fire) get to the natures produce Vegetables & fruits

The Lord has provided plenty of choice. No need to be a Vegan, but the amount of cleansing the vegetables and fruit does to the system is amazing!

The enzymes thus produced protect every cell in the body. Proteins are present in lentils and yogurt too.

Too much meat takes away 70% of the energy to digest it. So be moderate. We are basically herbivores and not carnivorous – by nature.

5. EXERCISE:k9820114

How can anything be consumed without the corresponding arrangement to digest the same? The body must move. Walking is a good form of exercise!

But stretching the body is very essential. Starting from bed after waking up is physically vibrant through the day.

Exercise in a proper state of mind and not under stress or pressure. Relaxation is the reason for exercising a healthy state of mind. Exercise alone and not rushing!

Household work is NOT an exercise, it’s a chore!

6. REST:rest

Last but not the least the 6th doctor is REST!

None of the above is possible without enough sleep, relaxation and rest from meetings a deadline!

Rest is the most important factor which gives drive to all other 5!

So do not neglect it. Resting with beautiful, positive and creative thoughts is of course always recommended.

If you have negative thoughts, keep struggling, so you do not have the time to nurture them.

When resting have all the positive thoughts, nourishing thoughts, the foremost being Thanksgiving to the Lord, followed by love

And be concerned towards all the relationships you come across
