Many Christians do not know that in the Holy Quran Jesus  is mentioned by name twenty-five times.  For example:

.. We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. .. Quran 2:87

Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah gives thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. Quran 3:45

.. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah .. Quran 4:171

And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him .. Quran 5:46

And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous: Quran 6:85

The Quranic Titles of Jesus

Though Jesus is mentioned by name in twenty-five places in the Holy Quran he is also addressed with respect as: “Ibne Maryam” – son of Mary; as Masi (Heb) Messiah – translated as Christ; “Abd-ullah” servant of Allah; “Rasul -Ullah” – Messenger of Allah.

He is spoken of as “the word of God”, as “the spirit of God”, as a “Sign of God”, and numerous other epithets of honor spread over fifteen different chapters. The Holy Quran honors this great Messenger of God, and over the past fourteen hundred years Muslims continue to hold Jesus as a symbol of truth.

Islam respects the faith of others

Prophet Muhammad  was always very respectful towards the Christians. According to Islamic historians, Ibn e Saad and Ibn e Hisham, once there was a delegation of Byzantine Christians, who were traveling from Yemen to Madinah. The delegation was led by a bishop by the name of Zqyd al-Usquf, who came to discuss a number of issues with Prophet Muhammad. When the time of their prayer came, they asked the Prophet if they could do their worship in the mosque of the Prophet. He answered, “Conduct your service here in the mosque. It is a place dedicated to God.”

Jesus  is commonly considered to have been born on the 25th of December. However, it is common knowledge among Christian scholars that he was not born on this day. It is well known that the first Christian churches held their festival in May, April, or January.

The Egyptians celebrated this day as the birth day of their great savior Horus,

The Greeks celebrated the 25th of December as the birthday of Hercules, the son of the supreme god of the Greeks, Zeus,

The Scandinavians celebrated the 25th of December as the birthday of their god Freyr, the son of their supreme god of the heavens, Odin.

The Romans observed this day as the birthday of the god of the sun, Natalis Solis Invicti

Adonis, revered as a “dying-and-rising god” among the Greeks, miraculously was also born on the 25th of December

Adonis, revered as a “dying-and-rising god” among the Greeks, miraculously was also born on the 25th of December. The ceremonies of his birthday are recorded to have taken place in the same cave in Bethlehem which is claimed to have been the birth place of Jesus .

love humanity and spread peace and pleasure around—we are children of same Adam and Eve

MARY

I came across an amazing scientific miracle in the Quran, it is in Surah Al Maryam…..When a Mother is giving birth it can be the most painful period in her life, its not easy….Now when Maryam was (pregnant with Jesus) was going through such pain, Allah in the Quran orders her to go near a stream of water, You have to listen carefully to the science of this verses, Allah tells her to go near a stream of water where next to it is a Palm tree, Allah instructs her to shake the palm tree and keep pulling down from trunks of the palm tree, so the dates can fall down for her, Some people may ask why is Allah telling us about the palm tree, the stream of water and the dates? Why did Allah not just simply tell us that she gave birth to Jesus (pbuh) and that’s it, why all these details??
Now here is the miracle, Firstly Allah tells her to shake the palm tree and keep pulling, some hospitals until very recently when a Mother is about to give birth, there is something they will tell her to hold on to and they tell her to keep pulling it back so it eases labour pain and muscle tension. Then Allah tells her to cool herself with water, there are modern hospitals today that tell pregnant women to sit in cool water as it will help them give birth,Then Allah tells her in the Quran that when she has relaxed in the water it will make her birth pain easier but he also tells her to straight away to eat the dates that fall….Now one may ask why did Allah instruct her to eat the dates?? This is because dates contain within them easily absorb-able sugars which help the heat and the movement and these sugars are of the fructose type which help raise the blood pressure….So the methods Hospitals are using today to ease birth pains, Allah has hinted in the Quran 1400 years back….Subhanallah

Bibi Marīam radiallahu’anhu

Mary ( Marīam in Arabic), the mother of  Jesus (Essa alaihessalam), is considered one of the most righteous women in the Islamic tradition. She is also the only woman mentioned by name in the Quran. According to the Quran, Essa alaihessalam was born miraculously by the will of Allah without a father. His mother is regarded as an honorable and virtuous woman and is said to have been a virgin. The Quran states clearly that Isa alaihessalam was the result of a virgin birth, but that neither Marīam radiallahu’anhu nor her son was divine. In the Quran, no other woman is given more attention than Marīam radiallahu’anhuand the Quran states that Marīam radiallahu’anhu was chosen above all women:

Behold! The angels said: “O Marīam ! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.”

—Quran, Surah 3 (Al- Imaran), verse 42

The 19th chapter of the Quran is named after her and is, to some extent, about her life. Of Quran’s 114 Surah she is among only eight people who have a chapter named after them.

Muslim literature narrates that Amram and his wife were old and childless.  One day, the sight of a bird in a tree feeding her young aroused Hanna’s desire for a child. She prayed to Allah to fulfill her desire and vowed, if her prayer was accepted, that her child would be dedicated to the service of Allah. She prayed for her child to remain protected from Satan  and Muslim tradition records a HADITH, which states that the only  born without the “touch of Satan,” were Marīam radiallahu’anhu and Essa  alaihesalam .

Bibi Marīam  radiallahu’anhu is believed to have been buried at the Tomb of the virgin Marīam radiallahu’anhu  in the Kidorn Valley, at the foot of the Mount of Olives, in Jerusalem.
