Mystery of “BE” is only known by lowly
What’s in heavens is known by the lowly
“To be” or “Not to be” is mayhem now hence
The one who knows is, but unspoken hence
Is it metaphor, idea, thought or conception?
What is a home? Its lone dweller’s perception
O, Gracious! What exposure of thy splendor!
Some think its doubt some reality of grandeur
May it be revealed the mystery of unknown?
The one who is, where is; to him is only known
How to make him know; how afar he’s of reality
To the one who thinks; knows of fact and reality
Simple points and issues about oneness of Allah
Make him believe and follow as lone conviction
Though he likes to make great hue and cry
But, heart’s unaware of intellect’s gloom

If you are beautiful, give proof of thy beauty
I’m unfortunate, brighten up my destiny!
Don’t give me joy that’s a reason for gloom
Give me joy that’s a reason for surplus gloom
And anything that holds all of your beauty
Or a word of admiration having some insight
Provide all charm of era’s gloom to thy sight
Or put together cruelty in an agreeable mold
I have no concern of Pharaoh’s bowl
I’m handful of dust, give me love’s bowl
O’ gentle gale! You touched her face, so beautiful!
When will I meet her; give me news, so delightful!
Ayaz chants true speech in this present time
Thus turn out the impolite of literary meeting

aisa koi sukhan, koi aisa khayaal do
aaNkhoN ko soNp do gham-e-dauraaN ki sab kashish
ye jabr ikhtiyaar ke saaNche meN Dhaal do
jaam-e-jahaaN’numa se mujhe kuch gharaz nahiN

Seen a strange image of agony and gloom
When corpse of a child lay on the shore
It was like fragrant flower blossomed suddenly
On silky sand early in morning like miracle
The waves softly and gently caressed him
The clouds were saddened and grieved
Light twitchy winds hovered restively
What the waves have written on water
Is, that what kind of civilization is this
Where human is killed by human race
It’s not read or felt by anyone, by none
The child has slept, like a weary butterfly
That sleeps on a flower after fluttering
Light the lamp

Abolish night’s gloom, light the lamp
Abolish fire of hate, light the lamp
From the serenity of followers of love
Arousing a stir in life, light the lamp
The skies have all the time been against
Forgetting everything, light the lamp
If the drive to defeat is crystal-clear
Illumine other lamp, glow with the lamp
Those who increase dark to every traveler
See! God is watching, do light the lamp
If thou are beautiful——-

If thou are beautiful,
Give proof of allurement
I’m ill-fated, restore my destiny!
Give me joy that destroys my gloom
Anything that manifests thy loveliness
Give me that word of praise or inspiration
Offer all charm of era’s gloom to thy eyes
Enclose this unkindness in agreeable sheath
I have no concern about Pharaoh’s bowl
I’m a handful of dust; give me your wine of love
O’ gentle breeze! Thou touched her beautiful face
Give me delightful news, when will I meet her?
Ayaz chants the true elocution in present time
Turn him out from this graceful poets’ gathering
I am a Woman

“I never got anything from the government, I’m still living in Korangi, and I’m never leaving the area because that’s where I belong.
Me a woman
History portrayed me as failure
At times dust, at times wilderness
Rebuked me, thrust aside me
Each day disgracing ridiculed me
But like moon and stars on horizon
I kept getting higher each day
Like the jumpy surfing waves
Kept surpassing seashore’s ebb
Like ambition grow and bloom
And new good spirits blossom
My aspirations swiftly boom
To keep elevating to the skies;
While you endeavored to sever me
And to bow down my being at thy feet
Like running down tears, to beseech
While fondness for beauty was there,
You remained petrified of my elation;
Thou tried to dig up my past happening s,
Remained unacquainted of my present;
Thou crushed my heart ironically,
Burnt my soul with your sniping glance
Killed me from first to last by hatred;
Intensity of malice and disrespect
My prudence and spirit decided to
Bury grief, woe, anguish, fear and gloom
There and then only;
Attiring in the robe of compassion,
Tread on the path of love;
I breathe today with a new vision
New hope new horizon—-
I am the woman!
Life is an opportunity given to satisfy the hunger and thirst of the soul regardless of any gender!
