Why have you been constantly smiling?
What’s the despair that you are veiling?
Having wet eyes and a smile on your face
What’s fact that you’re showing on the face?
The tears you sustain now with such patience
Will turn into venom if bear so much patience
Time has healed your wounds with resilience
Why are you scratching those with touchiness?
Destiny is the game of unreliable phase of life
You’re being beaten by the passing time of life

tum itnā jo muskurā rahe ho
kyā ġham hai jis ko chhupā rahe ho
āñkhoñ meñ namī hañsī laboñ par
kyā haal hai kyā dikhā rahe ho
ban jā.eñge zahr piite piite
ye ashk jo piite jā rahe ho
jin zaḳhmoñ ko vaqt bhar chalā hai
tum kyuuñ unheñ chheḌe jā rahe ho
rekhāoñ kā khel hai muqaddar
rekhāoñ se maat khā rahe ho
Wished to bring you and flower face to face
Nervy Nightingale and I would talk face to face
It’s acceptable no interpreter was available to us
What could we ask the stranger to explain to us?
The sun and the moon are wanderers like me
They are also in search of their dear one, as me
Had they ever seen your long silky hair locks
They’d wished to remain entangled in thy locks
If my beloved isn’t coming then death may come
How long could I hold my heart for her to come?
Don’t ask me of the regressing world Aatish
Wished passion to drizzle like the rainstorm

Saw my beloved hither and thither,
At times in vision at times hidden;
Awareness of unswerving faith,
Saw beloved’s face hither and thither;
Sometimes feasible, at times a need,
Sometimes mortal, at times immortal;
He wished HIM to be envisioned,
He made Himself envisioned;
He hears and He sees Himself,
There’s no one akin to Him;
Ardently cherishing in flowers,
Chanting in Robin, it’s Him;
May it be the candle or the moth?
Witnessed Him annihilate alight;
Claims Himself to be The Truth,
Eventually, saw Him crucified;
He’s above of every, Thou and Me,
Yet He’s there in every, Thou and Me;
Somewhere looks like nonchalant,
Somewhere seem a familiar face;
Somewhere He’s empowered, king,
Somewhere seen, a beggar with a bowl;
Somewhere a devout and a divinity,
Somewhere lord of sot drunkards;
Sometimes in beloved’s apparel,
At times sene in amiable allure;
Sometimes like a lover as Niyaz,
Seen punch heart, burn His bosom
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
kahin zahir kahin chhupa dekha
kahin mumkin hoa kahin wajib
kahin fani kahin baqa dekha
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
kahin zahir kahin chupa dekha
kahien woh baadshaah-e-takht nasheen
kahin kaasa liye gadaa dekha
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
kahin zahir kahin chupa dekha
kahin wo der libaas-e-mashokan
bar-sare naaz aur aada dekha
kahin zahir jahin chupa dekha
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
kahin aashiq niyaz ki soorat
seena Girya-o-dil jala dekha
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
kahin zahir kahin chupa dekha
yaar ko humne ja-ba-ja dekha
Listen! Damsel !

on:Remember, I was feeling thirsty, hence
Drank water from your pitcher?
Listen! Damsel, blushing bowed thy face
Bear in mind that day Damsel!
Mascara of thy eyes flashed with my eyes
Bear in mind that day Damsel!
Listen! Damsel, blushing bowed thy face
Bear in mind that day Damsel!
wordless I was, when wrap dropped
thy shoulder; Bear in mind that day damsel!
Don’t you remember, thou met me here,
Bear in mind that day damsel!
Remember, I was feeling thirsty, hence
Drank water from your pitcher?
Bear in mind that day damsel!
How can I forget it all —–!

How can I forget it all
Those children————–
Who making crown of flowers, gave
Everyone to adorn their hair;
Those traveling blissful people
Enjoyed beautiful picturesque air;
That sight and the scene I face now!
How can I forget?
How can I forget them?
The ones who adorned
My head, with crown of flora;
How can I forget them?
The ones who helped me pull out
My car from the ditch in foggy night,
Fed me and my daughter with food
And wrapped my mother with a shawl;
But now——-!
What I see is nothing but debris
All ruined by earthquake
How can I forget them?
