I came to Dubai on 20th of March with my son Ali for a one month visit. We are staying at my youngest daughter and her family. She lives in a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. She has maintained it very well. Very clean and comfortable!
Dubai is famous for its biggest artificial beach Jumeirah, tallest building Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, biggest shopping Dubai Mall, most modern and expensive cars on the roads, chain of all brands available, and you name and you have it. It is most secured and looked after country. Pavements, railings are dust freed after midnight and not only that but the beaches are constantly cleaned by the sweepers. Sand is sifted by the machines so nothing unwanted thing is left behind on the beaches. A woman is safe in Dubai. She can wear jewels and gold and carry as much cash as she likes and go by taxi and any hour of night. She won’t be robbed, raped or kidnapped. Dubai is amazing, safe, peaceful and harmonious——-but—–
There’s no cross ventilation as far as I know in the malls. I may definitely be wrong, but every time I go to any mall I feel suffocated. I caught cold, sore throat and congestion. It may be due to air-conditioning as Dubai is advanced in all respects so they must have thought about it too. Being old having weak resistance and not used to live in air-condition rooms most of the time. I like to breathe in fresh air and have cross ventilation in my home so maybe it’s my outlook!
