Afterall I found Hina’s picture. Its a true story. I was giving her prize for dancing on the song—brown girl in the ring

Hina Sabir was a charming, cheerful and stylish girl of 14 with pleasing manners. She was so caring and loving that every one small or big was attracted towards her.

Hina’s family returned from France and resided adjacent to our home. The family consisted of husband wife, their 2 daughters and one son. The wife was very pretty elegant and modest lady. What surprised me was the dark complexion and skinny structure of her daughter Hina.

My daughter and Hina became good friends very soon. They played together, but Hina used to get lethargic and weary in just no time.

When we became friendly and could share freely so I asked the reason of my query.

It was shocking and depressing to know that Hina was a blood cancer patient.  Being very well off the parents took Hina for treatment to France but the treatment of blood cancer was same as in Pakistan or any other country so they came back.

She bravely faced her illness without any complains. She studied; she played and enjoyed her life like all other children of her age. Hina was usually called brown girl all around in the vicinity after presenting a beautiful dance on the song; Brown girl in the ring – sha lala la———- in her school’s annual function. Her steps and movements were like a perfectionist dancer.

To see her dance was awe-inspiring. Hina was every one’s baby.

One other year of Hina’s medication and illness passed silently. Her condition was deteriorating speedily.

I went to attend conferences abroad for about a month or so. On my return I got heartbreaking news. My daughter told me in a dishearten tone with tears in her eyes that Hina is no more.   She also said that Hina’s death was not a usual one.

It was sacred and fasting month of Ramadan.  Few days before Eid Hina’s condition worsened so she was hospitalized. Unfortunately she couldn’t survive and passed away.

After completing hospital formalities her father, Mr.Sabir brought Hina’s body home.

Hina’s mother was so deeply disheartened that she couldn’t manage her self.  Every one present there   tried to calm down her but the grief was beyond her endurance. The environment was very depressing. Some ladies recited holy verses from Quran. Some passed comments on Hina’s illness or death.  Her mother caressed Hina’s hair and face weeping continuously.

All of a sudden Hina’s body stimulated with a shudder. It was something unbelievable to the people present there. The doctor was called immediately. After check up the doctor was surprised to see Hina was alive. It was startling for one and all.   The miracle had happened.

Hina called her mother and spoke in very feeble voice: “Don’t cry please! Invite all relatives on Eid day. I have to say something.”

Everything was done according to Hina’s wish.

The day came. Every one Hina asked came on time. Every one was anxious and restless to know what was to come next. Some came to hear what Hina had to say. Some came out of curiosity. Hina lay weak and frail on her bed. There was pin drop silence in the room. Every ear waited impatiently for Hina to speak.

Hina asked her mother to sit beside her. Taking mother’s hand in hers Hina said: “I had died. But I could hear my mother weep so resentfully that I begged almighty to grant me few days more to console my mother. Believe me two angels forcefully pulling my soul on my resistance. With all my strength I fell on my dead body.  My shoulders still ache of their strong grip. I couldn’t speak but could hear every word and comments by each one of you when I lay dead.  I have been granted just few days to live. I request you all specially my mother to please do not cry when I die again. I have to go.” Every one in the room was flabbergasted.

Every word Hina said came true. She passed away peacefully after a week.

I had pictures of Hina but I searched every where but failed to find any. I tried to contact her parents but failed too.

Though it sounds unbelievable but there are many people who are eyewitness to this true story.

This is a real and true story.

Before we discuss the characteristics of the salt crystal lamps in detail, we would like to point out that salt is a primal element, like water and air and its natural minerals and trace element have unique biophysical and biochemical characteristics. Salt is to be regarded as neutral, chemically as well as physically, without its own polarity, always balancing and neutralizing.

Therefore the natural rock salt is the best match with our biology and metabolism. Salt is used to preserve all kinds of proteins. Bacteria and other harmful germs can not survive in salt. Salt has deep influence in medical science and other alternate therapies. All are aiming to fight against harmful bacteria. in modern methods of treatment salt has its high place as an anti-bacterial agent.

  • The salt lamps are made of natural Himalayan crystal salt mined from underground salt mines in the foothills of theHimalayanMountains
  • The beautiful orange-reddish Himalayan crystal salt is mounted on a wooden base
  • This crystal salt is hundreds of millions of years old and, as a result, has special properties and high mineral content
  • Heat from the salt lamps  bulb causes the salt to emit negative ions
  • These negative ions bond with the pollutants in the air (positive ions) and neutralize them
  • Also, the newly bonded ions become heavier and fall to the ground removing them from the air circulation.
  • In addition, these negative ions combat electro-smog caused by electronic devices operating in the home like, computers,  cell phones, T.V , fans, air conditioners and other domestic electric appliances.
  • Symptoms from asthma, allergies, and other illnesses can also subside from the effects of salt lamps.

Salt Lamps   cleanse the air naturally and are extremely beautiful for your home.

This characteristic is especially helpful for relieving the symptoms associated with   asthma and allergies      in general because we inhale negative ions in the lungs—from where they are transported by the blood to feed our body cells and tissues. Positive ions slow down the delivery of oxygen. Water releases negative ions in the atmosphere and balances positive ions.

Cleaning Your Salt Lamp

Gently wipe the lamp with a damp (not soaking wet) towel or sponge to remove dust. Once cleaned, dry the lamp with a paper towel or turn on the lamp for a while.

Like a view from a passing van’s pane

He met me, but like a running mass!

I’m a drifter like the wind on roadways

He waits too, but silent like a pine tree

Don’t see the buzz of the bazaar with my eyes

Township will look bleak like a house

The same sense of agony as of   in prison

Come home daily as coming to office

Term returned to print grief on leaves

Sunlight is piercing eyes like a dagger;

Will get worn-out by continuously walking

The sun, soil, and stars will all sweep away

I will slumber under cover of centuries;

Weather’s plea, rain’s elegy, wind’s hymn

All incidents of days and nights’ moan

Beseech me discretely;

All arriving and departing

Will often remember me,

In order to forget me;

Next day with the new rising sun they   hid themselves on the roof   of monkeys’ big cage. The zookeepers would put them in cages too if they seen them.

With the nightfall they gathered again to discuss and finalize the plan of freeing other animals in the zoo. After a hot discussion it was decided that only those animals would be supported to flee who really want to   go back to the jungle.

Next day the falcons and monkeys kept an eagle’s eye on the zookeepers’ activities. They discovered the secret places where the   keys of the cages were kept. The monkeys also observed how to lock and unlock.

The darkness prevailed with the sun setting in the west.  The Falcons and monkeys tiptoed out of their hiding spots.

To begin with, they made sure that all the zookeepers were sleeping. Then inaudibly they started to unlock the cages. The animals were already briefed to slip away without a sound.

There were two main gates.  The animals that eagerly wanted to return to the jungle were divided in two groups.

Animals are animals after all. They have not been provided with the same wisdom as human beings by Al-mighty Allah, so when one group reached the   main gate the monkey who was leading the group just banged his head against the gate. He had forgotten to get the key of the main gate.

Luckily the guards were in deep slumber.

It was not difficult for the birds and monkeys to fly or   jump over the walls and escape but it was not easy for some animals to jump over the high walls of the zoo. They feared being caught by the watchmen but the guards being irresponsible  were half dazed too. Darkness and dim lights camouflaged them    with the trees’ shadows.

The last option they had was to breach the gates. The bulls and rams were chosen for this task. Violent blows broke the gates and the animals ran off.

The loud noise of the breaking gates    harassed those around the zoo. When people saw animals rushing out of the gates they ran yelling wildly. Cars dashed and collided hurting and killing any one who came in the way.

The animals did not take any notice of the chaos. They kept running out of the city, following the monkeys.

Hundreds of doves, parrots, skylarks, swans and many other birds flew above them in the same direction towards the jungle.

The beginning of the end J

More stories will be provided on request J

Once upon a time the falcons saw a magnificent cage a little further from Bittu, the baby elephant’s cage.  They had never seen such a worth seeing enclosure before anywhere not even in the zoo.

It was like a Chinese pagoda.  The bright red canopy was upturned and it was laden with flowery liana on three sides giving it a picturesque scene.

Inside the enclosure, bamboo shoots and long elephant grass scattered all over.  There was some one inside —– “who could it be?

A baby bear—– a black and white baby bear? How could that be?” said a monkey. A falcon was surprised to see a back and white bear.  Guessing their wonder the animal inside said: “friends, I am not a bear. I am a Panda. I belong toSouthern China.

Southern Chinais covered with thick forests. I do resemble   bears but I am herbivorous. I eat leaves and   bamboo shoots.”

A monkey said: “you seem to be living alone here. Don’t you have other pandas or your family members here?”

The panda heaving a sigh said: “My mother died of a strange disease when I was very young. I would have died too if some humans did not take care of me.  They brought me here. Since then they have treated me like their own baby. They feed me, care for me and   love me.

They have not only saved my life but have also saved our generation. I am very thankful to them.”

The monkeys and falcons speechless listened to panda’s story.

After some time a falcon asked panda: “Panda dear would you please explain the how humans saved   your species?”

“Ugh! It’s a long story but I will tell you in short.  For    past many decades new pandas’ reproduction bunged rather the species lessened gradually. Years of study and research made it possible for the humans to find the cause   of our thinning.  Now a rewarding    number of pandas are being raised.   Other countries are also working hard to build up our breed.  This is all because of humans’ love and care for animals and especially for us, the pandas.”

“Hey! How come you are all out of your cages?”  Said Panda astonished.

The falcons and monkeys had no answer to panda’s    query so they moved quietly from there.
